Responsibilities include receiving all incoming crankshafts and communicating with our expert technicians to properly repair or modify them. In addition, it will be your responsibility to ship all repaired and newly manufactured crankshafts. Our crankshafts ship globally and great attention to detail is a must. The job requires heavy lifting of crankshafts weighing between 30-90lbs.
Working knowledge or interest in crankshafts is a plus but not required. We offer training to learn the position and education on crankshafts and our craftsmanship to the product.
We are a full service repair and manufacturer shop, and a working knowledge of mechical tools and previous experience in a machine manufacturer warehouse is required.
Moderate computer knowledge is necessary for this position.
Daily Job Requires:
Receiving all shipped crankshafts
Properly handling of packing and unpacking crankshafts
Inventory control- keeping extra parts organized
Clean and magnaflux crankshafts (we will train)
R & R (remove & replace plugs) oil galley plugs with threaded plugs (we will train)
Remove counter balance gears off crankshafts (we will train)
Basic machine shop maintenance (organization, cleaning, etc.)
Clerical work (handling work orders and purchase orders, reading, writing, typing, clear speech & communication)
Using our forklift (certification in forklift is not required but always a plus if you are)
You will be busy everyday, new challenges will be presented, and you will likely learn new things daily. A person who asks questions and is excited to learn will move up fast in our company.
